Secondary STEM Fair inspires hands-on learning and community spirit

Secondary students recently hosted a vibrant STEM Fair led by student volunteers, showcasing how science connects to everyday life.

At Westlink International School Hanoi, the Secondary STEM Fair was a celebration of curiosity, creativity and collaboration. Led by student volunteers, the fair was packed with interactive activities that connected scientific concepts to everyday life in fun, practical ways.
 
One of the most popular activities was the “Hairdryer Game,” where participants used airflow to guide a ball into a cup, an engaging demonstration of physics in action. Students not only explored these creative stations but also took the lead in managing them, offering a dynamic experience that encouraged leadership, teamwork and public interaction.
 
The event successfully brought together students, families and staff in an inspiring learning environment. With stalls designed to entertain and educate, the fair reflected the school’s commitment to inquiry-based learning and community engagement.
 
We’re incredibly proud of our student organisers and can’t wait to see how the STEM Fair continues to grow in the coming years.
