Westlink International School is an authorised IB World School for the Primary Years Program (PYP). Only schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (IBDP) or the IB Career-related Certificate (IBCC). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
The IB is a globally respected educational framework used in over 170 countries. It emphasises the development of intellectual, emotional and social skills, enabling students to thrive academically and personally in a globalised world. The IB Diploma is widely accepted by top universities around the world.
Unlike traditional curricula, the IB encourages interdisciplinary learning, inquiry-based thinking and real-world application. Students are assessed on both subject mastery and their ability to think critically, collaborate and reflect.
English is the primary language of instruction. English-speaking students also have the option to study Vietnamese or Korean. Additional language offerings may be added in future.
