Ms Hillary is a highly experienced international school educator with 30 years in education, including 17 years as a principal. She is a creative, resilient and personable leader with experience in mainstream, special and international schools. Throughout her career, she has revitalised schools by redesigning curricula, developing skilled teams and transforming learning environments. Hillary holds postgraduate qualifications in Special Educational Needs and the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH). In recognition of her contribution to education, she was recently awarded a Fellowship with the Chartered College for Teaching in the UK.
Dariush Saheli is an experienced international educator and well-qualified leader. With a strong background in teaching and leadership across a range of schools, he brings a wealth of expertise in fostering high-quality learning environments.
Inspired by liberation, peace, and the power of education to transform lives, Dariush is passionate about creating inclusive, student-centered schools that empower learners and educators alike. His approach is deeply influenced by evidence based education.
He is committed to building a school culture that prioritizes innovation, collaboration, and lifelong learning, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Dr Nga Ngo holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Sydney and has served as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, USA. She has been awarded prestigious honours, including the Australian Government PhD scholarship and a Fulbright Scholarship. With extensive experience managing international programmes such as the Australian High School Programme, Kind Education’s Advanced Level Foundation and the Oxford International Curriculum, Dr Ngo brings a strong global perspective to school leadership. She has also contributed to numerous international educational projects and research publications.
Martin brings over 20 years of teaching experience in Australia and internationally. He began his overseas journey in 2021 as English Curriculum Coordinator and PYP Year 6 teacher at the Australian International School in Ho Chi Minh City. Now leading the Primary division at Westlink, he focuses on building a student-centred, inclusive learning environment. Martin holds a BA in Social Sciences, a Diploma of Education and a Master’s in International Education (IB) from the University of Melbourne. He is dedicated to innovative practice and ongoing professional growth. Outside school, Martin enjoys drumming and travelling with family and friends.
Originally from Costa Rica, Ms Nella holds a Master’s in Education and a PGCE. Her passion for learning led her to teach IB Global Politics and Theory of Knowledge, and she later advanced into leadership as a Middle School Coordinator. Now based at Westlink International School Hanoi, she serves as the MYP Coordinator, continuing her journey within the ISP family. Nella is known for her dedication to student success and international-mindedness. Outside the classroom, she enjoys travelling with her family and has a strong interest in learning new languages and exploring diverse cultures.
He is a calm, composed, and collaborative leader who works closely with his team to foster growth and teamwork. Holding a B.Sc, B.Ed, PGDELI, and CPL certification, he brings nearly 15 years of teaching experience across multiple international schools in India and Dubai, consistently inspiring and guiding students to achieve their full potential. His leadership journey includes roles as principal in charge, pastoral leader, and Deputy Head of Middle School, all of which have further honed his ability to prioritize student well-being and foster their personal development.
A proactive, solution-oriented individual, he focuses on addressing challenges effectively, rather than dwelling on obstacles. Known for his balanced approach to discipline, he blends firm authority with approachability. Open-minded and receptive to new ideas, he actively welcomes suggestions that benefit both the school community and its students. His leadership continues to nurture a positive, innovative, and supportive environment that empowers both staff and students to excel.Outside of work, he is a foodie, enjoys sports, and cherishes spending time with his family.
Marika has a distinguished international education career having worked 25 years in Canada, China, Ukraine, Tanzania, Japan, Germany, and now Vietnam. For the past 9 years she has led as a Secondary Principal, prior to that leading across a variety of roles including Curriculum Coordinator and Director of Athletics & Activities. Marika's journey with the IB has been uniquely multifacited - having engaged with the program as a student, parent, educator and leader. Currently she serves as an IB MYP Programme and Evaluation Leader, and a CIS/WASC/MSA Accreditation team chair.
Outside of school, Marika enjoys playing pickleball, practicing yoga and spending time at her little cottage in Canada with her partner Sylvia, their dog Rudi, and her grown up son Kyle.
Marika is thrilled to transition into a counseling role, bringing her understanding of school communities, holistic approach to student well-being, and a genuine enthusiasm for guiding students on their academic and personal journeys.
With 20 years of experience, Ms Lauretta brings a deep understanding of Special Education, Rehabilitation and Safeguarding to her role at Westlink. Holding degrees in Psychology, Rehabilitation Science and a Master’s in Counselling and Family Therapy, she is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive environment where every student’s needs are met with care and confidentiality. As SENCO, she ensures that students receive tailored support, working closely with families and staff to uphold strong values and provide a nurturing space for learning and growth.
Sylvia has had a dynamic career in international education, spanning 22 years across multiple roles and continents. She has worked as a PYP Homeroom Teacher, ICT Specialist, PYP Visual Arts Specialist, MYP Design Teacher, Whole School Director of Technology, PYP Coordinator, Primary School Principal, and Director of Innovative Learning. A CIS evaluation team member and IB PYP Programme Leader, Sylvia supports schools in delivering high-quality international education.
Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, she has worked in the Shetland Islands (Scotland), Porto (Portugal), Cairo (Egypt), Nagoya (Japan), and Berlin (Germany), each shaping her global perspective on teaching and learning.
Beyond work, Sylvia enjoys pickleball and shares her home with her partner, Marika, and their dog, Rudi. She is excited to join the Westlink community.
With over a decade of experience in education, Sarah is a dedicated leader in multilingual learning and language support. She specializes in developing inclusive, data-driven strategies to support English as an Additional Language (EAL) students, ensuring they thrive in both academic and social settings.
Sarah is passionate about fostering a collaborative learning environment and works closely with teachers to integrate language development across the curriculum. She has led whole-school professional development sessions, designed tailored EAL programs, and implemented effective assessment frameworks to track student progress.
Committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning experience, Sarah believes in the power of language to unlock potential and empower students in their educational journey.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Teaching Physical Education and is currently taking a Doctor of Education in Curriculum Studies. Ana has worked in different educational institutions in the Philippines, both in private and public schools as Music, Arts, PE & Health teacher at primary and secondary level. Having a philosophy that all children are unique, Ana believes that students can learn best through experience and must obtain a healthy and safe educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, socially and emotionally. Ana enjoys travelling, playing sports and guitar, watching movies, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
