At Westlink International School Hanoi, children grade 3-10 students enjoy fun-filled days through hands-on engineering challenges, building and launching rockets, designing mission patches, and even tasting authentic astronaut food.
Especially, the program ends with certification, and students also receive their Astronaut Trainee Wings.

Every space mission has its own mission patch. Students will learn about the secrets hidden in some existing patches and then each 'crew' will get creative to design a patch that reflects the team members and their mission. They will present their finished designs at the graduation ceremony.
Learn about rocket propulsion systems including liquid fuel rocket engines, solid fuel rocket motors, their advantages and disadvantages. Students will build individual model rockets with an engine mount, parachute recovery system, payload section, and nose cone.
Students learn about the capsules that astronauts travel to and from space in and explore design concepts such as: shape, engineering a heat shield, and reusability.
From a brief history of Space Exploration to learning what it’s like to live and work in space whilst using educational curriculum from NASA, ESA (European Space Agency), and others. Students will come away with an understanding of international space programmes and their place in space.
On the last programme day students will participate in a graduation ceremony to receive their certificate of completion, astronaut trainee wings – containing real spaceflown metal – and space awards. Family members are invited to attend the ceremony and meet the programme team.

Yes, students can come to our Spacewise Academy from any other schools.
The camp runs for one week during the Fall term break, from October 12th to October 16th, 2026.
The fee increases to 16,500,000 VND starting from July 1, 2026.
The fee covers all instruction, a programme workbook/manual, and all necessary supplies and materials.
It includes an individual model rocket kit for students to build and sample freeze-dried space food.
Upon graduation, students receive a certificate, special awards, and "Astronaut Trainee Wings" which contain real space-flown metal.
Please note that the bus fee is not included in the programme cost.
Rocketry: Students will learn about rocket propulsion systems and build their own individual model rockets featuring an engine mount, parachute recovery system, payload section, and nose cone.
Engineering Challenges: Students will participate in small group STEM activities, including a Space Capsule Engineering design challenge (with drop testing) and a Mission to Mars robotics/design challenge.
Mission Patch Design: Each "crew" will design their own creative mission patch reflecting their team members and will present it at graduation.
Astronaut Life: Students will learn how astronauts conduct science experiments, perform spacewalks, sleep, and eat in space, which includes tasting freeze-dried fruit and ice-cream.
Postcards to Space: Through a partnership with Blue Origin's Club for the Future, students will write or draw a postcard that will be launched to space on a New Shepard rocket, stamped with "Flown to Space," and returned to them.
The camp is led by space experts with extensive experience working with NASA, International Space Agencies, and global media outlets.
Kate Arkless Gray ('SpaceKate'): A space journalist and educator who has degrees from Cambridge University and Imperial College of London, and is a two-time winner of NASA's International Space Apps Challenge.
Michael Flachbart: A space education veteran who retired after 30 years as the Vice-President of Global Space Camp Operations at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
Family members are invited to attend the graduation ceremony on the final day (Friday) to see the students receive their certificates and awards, and to meet the programme team.
Mr. Michael was born and raised in Marblehead, Massachusetts, Michael studied business management and graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. His extensive experience in the youth informal education sector was inspired after witnessing a Space Shuttle Launch in person and attending Space Camp as a trainee.
