Relive the beautiful memories of TET Night at Westlink International School. A celebration of Vietnamese traditions with families from 30+ nationalities.

TET Night: A Heartfelt Celebration of Culture and Community at Westlink

This year, the Westlink TET Night 2026 transformed our campus into a radiant landscape of light, laughter, and learning. As a leading international school Hanoi, Westlink International School takes immense pride in bridging the gap between global perspectives and local heritage.

While the echoes of the drums have faded, the warmth of the evening lingers. "TET Under the Stars" was not just an event-it was a heartfelt testament to our vibrant, multicultural celebration of community and the timeless beauty of Vietnamese traditions.

1. Embracing Vietnamese Traditions with a Global Family

Leading up to the event, our team worked closely with parents to prepare a celebration that was both vibrant and meaningful. Traditional activity booths invited everyone to experience the soul of Vietnamese culture. From the delicate strokes of calligraphy and shaping colorful tò he figurines to creating lucky charms and playing folk games, the campus was filled with curiosity. It was truly special to see families from more than 30 different nationalities eagerly learning and embracing these traditions side by side.

At Westlink, education goes beyond textbooks. We believe that cultural fluency is a vital skill for the leaders of tomorrow. Leading up to the event, our dedicated team worked hand-in-hand with our diverse parent community to curate an experience that was both authentic and accessible to all.

The campus buzzed with energy as traditional activity booths invited guests to touch, taste, and feel the soul of Vietnam. Families from over 30 different nationalities came together to explore:

  • The Art of Calligraphy: Guests watched in awe as master calligraphers turned ink into poetry, gifting families with meaningful characters for the New Year.

  • Tò He Crafting: A favorite among our younger students, the delicate art of shaping colorful glutinous rice dough into mythical creatures and flowers showcased the whimsical side of Vietnamese heritage.

  • Folk Games & Lucky Charms: From the rhythmic challenge of bamboo dancing to the creation of handmade lucky charms, the air was filled with the sounds of cross-cultural discovery.

Seeing students from Europe, the Americas, and across Asia wearing the traditional Áo Dài while mastering folk games reminded us why Westlink is such a unique international school Hanoi - we don't just observe culture, we live it.

2. Showcasing International Talent

The highlight of Westlink TET Night 2026 was undoubtedly the grand performance showcase. Under the soft glow of the night sky, our stage became a melting pot of global talent.

Our students, representing a tapestry of backgrounds, took to the stage with a confidence that radiated pride. The performances were a curated mix of traditional Vietnamese music and modern international flair, symbolizing our commitment to a holistic, multicultural celebration. Each act served as a reminder that while our students come from different corners of the world, they are united by a shared sense of belonging at Westlink.
