Class 5RM took on a special challenge by leading the very first PYP Assembly after only a few weeks into the year. Together, students brainstormed about what important information students need to know at the beginning of the year, then worked in groups to present it in creative ways. From interviewing new PYP teachers, performing skits about the IB Learner Profile, to filming and editing videos that introduced routines in shared spaces like finding missing items at the “Lost and Found” and reading books at the library, the students showed amazing initiative and creativity.Students also applied their thinking skills to plan, social skills to collaborate, and most importantly, their communication skills to confidently present in front of a lively audience.Today’s Assembly was not only a resounding success but also a wonderful showcase of 5RM’s creativity, responsibility, and team spirit! 👏
