Jingle bells and festive colors! Step into the sun-filled outdoor classroom where our Intro students are bringing Christmas to life.

Knock, Knock! Christmas Has Arrived in the Intro Class at Westlink

With Christmas just around the corner, the festive spirit has spread throughout the outdoor learning spaces of the Intro class at Westlink International School. It’s a season of joy, creativity, and sun-filled discovery.

The Creative Corner of Westlink’s Little Creators

At Westlink, we believe every child is a natural artist. During this festive session, students were empowered to choose the activities they loved most:

  • Little Painters: Students hand-painted and decorated unique Christmas trees. With no set patterns, every stroke reflected their innocent imagination.

  • Creative Crafts: By shaping festive symbols using playdough, glitter, and colorful buttons, students didn't just make art - they practiced essential fine motor skills.

  • Personal Touch: Every creation was a reflection of each student's unique vision of the holiday season, fostering a sense of pride and individuality.

The Meaning Behind Our Outdoor Festive Experiences

This outdoor activity provided more than just joy; it was a golden opportunity for our Early Years students to develop holistically:

  1. Explore & Experiment: The open learning environment allows children to express themselves naturally, fostering an independent and proactive mindset.

  2. Skill Development: By working alongside peers, children learn to share, cooperate, and build confidence while presenting their work.

  3. Sparking Joy: Nurturing a love for learning through moments of shared happiness is the core value of Early Years education at Westlink.
